My colleague Melissa Silverstein (Women And Hollywood) and I made a supercut  of a the prominant female-directed films not nominated for an Oscar this year in an effort to highlight women’s work and shed light on part of the problem: the voting population of the Academy.

We’ve moved beyond the issue of  ‘not enough women making work.’
