I create engaging workshops that encourage students to be their own media makers.

My workshops:

• focus on putting Media Literacy, Feminist and Film theories into practice
• comment on and critique pop culture, mainstream media and peer-related work
• provide the opportunity for students to produce their own media
• students walk away not just a passive viewer but an active creator and critic.

With 5+ years experience organizing screenings, a background in media literacy and a history of developing successful partnerships with community organizations, artists and funders, I've had the opportunity to work with amazing groups such as:
