KEYNOTES AND TALKS ON THE FUTURE OF DIGITAL VIDEO

TALK ABOUT A GOOD TIME.

Despite growing awareness over the past 8 years, there's been no meaningful change in the number of women and girls on screen. When they are on screen, women and girls are over 3x more likely to be shown in sexually revealing clothing and/or nude.

Why should you care?

You can't be what you can't see. The result is that young women have a hard time finding content that speaks to them about the realities of their life.

I love speaking about the power of pop culture and the choice we have to be either media victims or media makers. My talks encourage the later using pop culture as the spoon full of sugar to make the cultural critique go down. Over the past 7 years, I've spoken at conferences, galleries and universities around the world including Harvard Law School, MIT, USC, USCD, SxSW, MIP, The Conference Malmo, Pop Culture and World Politics and Society for Cinema and Media Studies.
